Digital Scan Options

Whether you are a clinical professional creating a custom medical device, a hobbyist looking to model objects found in everyday life, or an innovator wanting to design a new thing, 3D scanning is a powerful tool for moving real objects into the digital space . There they can be reimagined, manipulated, and ultimately translated back into physical objects through 3D printing or more traditional fabrication techniques. At Adaptive Devices, we can use your scan from Structure Sensor, Artec, or other 3D scanner to make your ideas real, and your job cleaner and more efficient. Send us your STL or OBJ file today to see what’s possible!

3D Printing

At Adaptive Devices we use 3D printing in a variety of ways. From rapid prototyping to streamlining o&p workflow, 3D printing can fill almost any gap between imagination and a real thing. We can take your designs and print from files, or help in the design process using programs like Fusion 360 and Meshmixer to render your ideas in a 3D environment and get them ready for the printer.

For the o&p professional, we can use a scan to print certain PETG diagnostic sockets, as well as begin our traditional fabrication process for definitive prosthesis. This translates into faster turnaround times and one way shipping costs. The possibilities go far beyond the basics and we will work with you to design cosmetic covers, adaptive devices, and even printable definitive sockets.
